Elizabeth was born and raised in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, though she now lives in a suburb of Austin, Texas. She holds a bachelor's and master's degree in English language and literature from the University of Michigan, but became a registered nurse in 2005 and is still practicing this profession. She has worked in reference and textbook publishing, and played a fundamental role in the creation of the first online English grammar and composition series for middle school and high school students. In addition to numerous credits in the Gale Group's reference series Contemporary Authors and Contemporary Musicians--some of which appear under her previous married name, Elizabeth Wenning--she has published an article in Unity Magazine as well as a short story in Mytholog. Her play, The Circle, has been staged in Michigan and in Texas, and her self-published middle school novel, Confessions of a Mixed-Up Weasel Hater can be purchased on Amazon.com. She is active in her local community theater, the Way Off Broadway Community Players, and has appeared in its productions of Bell, Book, and Candle, Dirty Work at the Crossroads, and Arsenic and Old Lace. She has also served on the theater's Board. Elizabeth is the proud mother of two teenagers.
